Reference

“We have just had a visit from the Manchester II C.A. Van, with Capt. Fletcher and Bro Stakes. The meetings have been well attended, mission services and lantern services being held. The addresses of Capt. Fletcher were most helpful, simple, and full of loving appeal – to come to one meeting meant coming to all, im many cases – his genial, kindly way drawing people around him. (...) We are glad also to learn that the Mission Van received good financial support while with us. They leave us for another parish some three miles away (..).”
