“'From Lukewarm to Red-Hot': Capts. Betts and Morton of the C.A. Chester Van 2 have conducted a successful mission in this small parish. A good and bold campaign was conducted on behalf of the great Captian of our salvation, and it is hoped that a good work has begun in many a heart, which will bring forth to life eternal. Small, out of the way communities like this, removed from the busy whirl of life, are apt to grow dowsy and lukewarm, and the present movement has awakened its spiritual life. Open-air meetings were held frequently held, and services were conducted almost every evening in the Infant's Day School. Some of the services and lectures were illustrated by a magic lantern, and these attracted largest audiences. (...)”
