BAILEY, Captain (fl. 1900s) – lecturer
Church Army Shamrock III Van – organiser
“'Shamrock III': A C. A. Van has been here for three weeks in charge of Capt. Bailey and Bro. McMitchell. During the first week, he gave an instructive service, with lantern illustrations, entitled 'The Torn Bible', and in the second week he gave us the 'Birth, Life and Cruxifixion of Christ', which was very touching. The vicar gave great encourgament by being present at the meetings. Very earnest and impressive were the addresses of Capt. Bailey and Bro. McMitchell, and we earnestly pray it may make a lasting imoression on all how heard them. (..).”
