“'The Lantern in the Square': The Canterbury No. 2 Van, in charge of Capt. Price and Brother Fletcher, has been holding mission services here for nearly three weeks. The schoolroom has been packed out nightly to its utmost capacity. One of the nights was devoted to an open-air lantern service in the large sqaure. About 400 people turned out and the majority were men. (...)”
