“' Plenty of Room In Heaven': The C.A. Van has been on this parish for a week, in charge of Capt. Edwards and Brother Hunt. Services have been held every evening in the village schoolroom, which were very well attended. The service on Sunday was so largely attended that after filling the room to its utmost capacit, very many persons could not gain admittance. Capt. Edwards at this service delivered a very moving address on the 'Passion', illustrated by lantern slides'. (...) Capt. Edwards' account of the work of the Church Army, illustrated by lantern slides was most interesting, as showing the work of the Church among the poor, destitute and the outcast. (...).”
