“'There'll Be No Parting': The Church Army Van (Winchester No. 3), in charge of Capt. Wallbutton, assisted by Capt. Whiteside and Brother Patstone, has held a fortnight's mission in this town. Meetings have been held every night, both in the open air and indoors. At the outdoor meetings many listeners were seen standing around, any many followed on to the Victoria Rooms. There has been an increase every night until the Hall, which holds about 350 people, was packed. Lantern Services were much appreciated, especially the 'Passion of our Lord', when the 'Story of the Cross' was sung, which was very effective. (...)”
