“'Making Themselves Felt': The C.A. Van Mission Van (Ripon 2), in charge of Capt. Woollen is still occupied with its visit to our parish. (...) The open-air services were so arranged as to cover the whole district; those held after the services in church took the form of lantern services on the 'Life of Lord' and some strikingly good pictures were shown in illustration of the principal events. The sheet was simply fixed to a wall and this unusual form of service was the means of drawing large and most attentive crowds. (...)”
