GASSICK, Mrs Sarah (c.1864-1949) – lecturer
MORRIS, Miss L. (fl. 1900s) – lecturer
“'Lifeboat Monday'. (...) In the Holy Week, we had three suitable lantern services – two for adults and one for young people. That on Good Friday evening brought a crowded hall and the service was most impressive. We had the beautiful story 'The dying Saviour and the Gipsy Girl'. Miss L. Morris sang 'The Holy City' and a quarttete of C.A. Friends sang 'There is a green Hill'. These were all illustrated with beautiful limelight pictures. The 'Gipsy Girl' story was read by Mrs. Gassick. Pictures of the Crucifixion and the singing of 'Lead kindly Light' closed a meeting we shall not soon forget.”
