“'Two Days' Hard Labour For Doing Good': About eighty people made sure of a sixpenny ticket for our first Easter tea, concert, etc. We had a splendid time. Following the tea was concert, during which we were introduced to a few good CA sacred songs. After this, Miss Coughlan recited 'Nellies Prayer' which was illustrated by lantern pictures. Capt. Nicol, of pioneer fame, then interested us with a chat about the sixty slides illustrating the work of the Church Army. (...)”
