“'A Scare in Hertfordshire': On Friday, there arrived at our small village a Church Army Van, in charge of Capt. Darby and Brother Berry. (...) The schoolroom was constantly filled, many being there who had not visited God's Holy House lately. Four magic lantern services were given, viz., 'The Prodigal Son', 'Special for Men Only', 'Passion', 'Church Army Work'. These were most impressive and the audience were most attentive (...)”
