“'A Christian Cinematograph.' Gorton, S. James. - A successful nine days' mission, conducted by Mr. And Mrs. Ingham, concluded on Monday, at S. James', Gorton. A total number of about 1,110 adults attended the services, at which addresses were delivered by the missioners and Capt. Garner, illustrated by limelight views supplied by Headquaters; these slides with the cinematograph pictures exhibition each evening before the service, attracted the right sort of people, and practical results were shown. Solos were rendered by Mrs. Ingham, es-nurse Ingham, Miss bauer, and Mrs. Garner; Mr. and Miss Parker contributing mandoline solos. Mr. Mansfield, Capt. Brasier, and Stockport friends took part in the services. E.M., for Capt. Garner.”
