Church Army Winchester Van – organiser
“'NO ONE WAS FORGOTTEN' Easton, Winchester. - We wish to testify to the excellent work done by the Evangelist (Capt. Cox) and his fellow worker (Brother Tusted). The C.A Van was with us for a fortnight, and during the Mission the Schools were well filled each evening. The Lantern Service was particularly calculated to interest us all. The heartfelt and sympathetic explanations of the beautiful Slides, representing the Passion of our Lord, brought tears to many an eye, and would not fail to touch even the most callous heart. No one in the parish was forgotten. The children in the schools and the old and infirm in their homes have all had a share on the Missioner's work and prayers. We heartily wish the Evangelists Godspeed in their self-denying efforts for the Lord. Benj. Pidcock, Rector.”
