“GEMS OF THE FIRST WATER Feltwell. - The annual pleasure fair was held on Nov. 21 and 22. On the previous Sunday evening we had a an Open-air Service opposite the Fairsted, when the Gospel was declared in the hearing of the occupants of the caravans, and a hearty invitation as given them to attend the Service at the church. On the Monday evening a Lantern Service, entitled, 'The Torn Bible,' was given near the fair; the Service was delivered by Capt. Ridyard, and the Lantern was managed by Capt. Waddle, of Middleton; personal testimony was given of appreciation of the Service, and of the lantern views which were exhibited. [...] F. R., for Capt. Ridyard.”
