“IN FLAT LAND Caxton, St. Andrew's, Cambs. - On August 4 the Church Army Van visited our village under the charge of Capt. Parker, and Brothers Cowley and Everest. They stayed with us until the 20th. During their stay we had some grand times, both with the Open-air Services and the Lantern Services in the school-room; the school being pretty well filled each evening. The addresses given by Brother Cowley were very stirring, and will never be forgotten by those who heard them. We are very sorry they have left us, and we hope at some future time we may have them amongst us again. Praying that their labours may not be all in vain, that some may be drawn to the truth. A Friend.”
