“GATHERING FRUIT TO LIFE ETERNAL Fruit-pickers Mission. - Fruit-pickers receive us kindly, and sit and listen while we read to them in the evening and at meal times. Five men signed the pledge after Lantern Entertainment, 'Given in charge;' two women the day after; others have promised to do so. Two of the men came to church yesterday, the first time for a long while. We read and speak to the gipsies, visit the sick, give away tracts, sing and preach, relieve sick with milk, etc., kindly given by ladies near. With six outdoor addresses, Sunday work, and visiting as above, the C.A. Evangelist has his hands full, and who can tell the results of such work done in faith and love for the Master's sake? - Extract from Evangelist's report”
