“A HOPEFUL BEGINNING Upper Armley, Leeds, Christ Church. - We commenced C.A. work in this Parish on Saturday, May 7, when a Limelight Lecture was given, showing the work of the C.A. We had a good congregation, who contributed liberally to the support of our work. We are glad to say that our clergy are in full sympathy with our work, and the Captain receives many an encouraging word from them. Our Sunday meetings have only had a small beginning, but we are slowly, yet steadily, increasing. [...] J. McLeod, Capt.”
