“On the border: Through the instrumentality of the Rev. Canon Robinson, of Ulgham, a Church Army Van was introduced into this diocese. During the past fortnight the Van has been stationed in St. Paul's parish, Alnwick, under the charge of Capt. Totten and Lieut. Armstrong. Open-air Meetings, preceding Mission Services, have been held nearly every night, when very earnest and practical addresses have been faithfully delivered. [...] On Saturday night a Magic Lantern Services was held, the subject being 'The Torn Bible.' Mission cards have been distributed as a memento of the visit. [...]”
