GRUNDY, Captain (fl. 1890s) – lecturer
Church Army Van (unspecified) – organiser
“More than thankful: The C.A. Van has met with great success. Large numbers assembled to see the Lantern views, and hear the work of the C.A. explained by Capt. Grundy. Sunday Services was also well attended, a special feature being the illustration of scenes in the life of our Saviour Jesus Christ, by means of Lantern pictures. I am more than thankful to say that one brother definitely decided to be the Lord's, and claimed pardon, returning home in peace. The Open-air services have been splendidly attended, quite good crowds attending them all. We are unable to deal personally with people in the open air to some extent, but under God's blessing hope to draw in the net with many precious souls during the concluding meetings of this Mission. Capt. Grundy, Cadet Fletcher, and myself, take this opportunity of thanking all those who have, by their presence and by their prayers, supported the Mission.”
