“Candle, gas, or electricity?: [...] We shall be very sorry indeed when the time comes for our dear Curate to leave us; he has been a great help to our Mission work - week after week he has taken the lantern readings for us, and altogether he has proved to be a real out-and-out C.A. Curate. That God's blessing may go with him when he goes to Yorkshire is our prayer. Our Nurse works as only C.A. Nurses can work, and has already got a class of working girls together. Our Lantern Services are crowded. Brethren, pray for Birmingham.”
