“Good lasting results: 'Oxford' No. II. Church Army Van has for the past fortnight been stationed in the village. The meetings were held in the schoolroom, and have been well attended, several new faces appearing at every meeting. The services were bright and hearty and we trust good lasting results have followed the earnest work of Capt. King. The Magic Lantern Services were thoroughly appreciated, both by the children who attended the early meetings and by the adults at the later meetings. Memorial cards were given to those who wished to receive them at the end of the last service on Friday night, September 17.”
