HANSON, Captain Arthur (c.1868- after 1911) – lecturer
“March of the one hundred: The 10th Anniversary of the Church Army in our parish was celebrated by holding Special Services, conducted by Capt. Hanson. […] On the Monday evening we listened with great interest to a Lantern Lecture, on 'What is the Church Army doing?' we are proud to belong to an Army which is doing such grand work throughout the country, which listens to the cry of the Outcast and the Unemployed, and helps them. We have been encouraged by these Services, for we have realised the Spirit's power in them.”
