“Cricket for C.A. boys: Friends of Capt. Monkhouse will be glad to know that his work progresses, spite of much that its up hill. During the winter months he has held Lantern Services regularly, and on Thursday, May 20, he held a Lantern Service in the churchyard, which attracted many, the subject was 'The Passion,' and we may hope that the message conveyed through the eye may find its way to the heart and bear fruit to eternal life. [...]”
