“A smiling old face: […] On Saturday, January 9, we commenced our Coffee Suppers for the season. Mr. Wright, Scripture Reader of St. Paul's Kirkdale, and his friends kindly came and gave us a Service of Song, entitled, 'Crown after Cross, ' illustrated by the Magic Lantern, and much appreciated by a large attendance. May we each one, like the old man and little girl of the story, cheerfully take up our cross and follow Jesus, and one day, like them, win the Crown.”
