“A FEW BRIGHT DAYS Long Wittenham. - A C.A. Van Mission was held in the parish of Long Wittenham, commencing on Dec. 9, and lasting a fortnight. Gospel services and meetings were held in the schoolroom every evening, some of them being illustrated by magic lantern views. They were preceded each evening by a service for children. [...] Judging by the good attendances, the services and addresses were extremely popular, and a deep impression was evidently made by the earnestness of Capt. King and his two fellow helpers. [...] W. E. B.”
