“A smiling old face: […] On Tuesday, December 29, our Vicar gave a Tea party to about 50 old folks; a great many were unable to come on account of the weather. The tables were well covered with good things, and it did one good to see the poor old faces lighted up with pleasure. After tea, magic lantern views of London were shown. ”
