“Albert Memorial Parish - Our Sunday meetings are well attended. Last week Brother Porter, Newton Heath, gave the address, which was listened to with attention. We are about starting cottage meetings during the winter months. We hope by the time this is in print to have four going to at the same time in the parish; may much blessing attend them. On Thursday we had a magic lantern entertainment called 'Heroes of the Lifeboat'. Our room was so crowded that many had to stand. The readings were given by the Curate, and were very impressive. (...)”
