“The Magic Lantern Missioniers. Bermondsey. – On Thursday last we had a visit from Mason and Greig, Headquater’s Lantern Mission, with the Limelight Lantern. The texts taken were, 'God is my refuge and my strength,” and 'Behold the Lamb of God.” The addresses were illsutrated by Lantern Slides. The hall was filled right up, and we believe that God really blessed the service mightily. Many afterwards spoke of the power in the meeting, and the hearty invitation was given to the speakers to come again. We pray that God will use all means to His power and glory, and that He will both convict and convert the people here, for His name’s sake. For the capt.”
