“Definite answers: On Nov. 21, we had our third Lantern Service and Coffee Supper. It was entitled 'The Ragged Street Preacher of Glasgow,' and was shown by Capt. Grummett, and he also showed us some scenes of Calvary. Our Vicar was in the Chair, and spoke some very kind and encouraging words about Church Army Work. The people showed their appreciation of it by filling our large Parish Hall. Our Last Lantern Lecture was the very touching story of 'Two Golden Lilies,' to which many men and women came, and we praise God for this and many other definite answers to prayer. [...]”
