HANSON, Captain Arthur (c.1868- after 1911) – lecturer
“A Visitor from London: […] On Monday Captain Hanson gave us a lecture, illustrated by lantern, on the social work of the Church Army in our large towns. Many hearts were touched with pity for our fallen brothers and sisters, and many were the prayers that went up to God for His blessing on the social work. After the lectures we had a short praise meeting, when many thanked God for special blessings received, and many whom he has visited since have testified to the Captain of the blessings received by the earnest words spoken by Captain Hanson, who addressed all the meetings on Sunday. We are looking and praying for a good winter's work here, and earnestly ask for the prayers of our brothers and sisters.”
