“Prodigal's return: On Friday, Oct. 11, Capt. Hatton (from Hungerford) came over with his magic lantern and gave us a service on 'The Prodigal Son.' The schoolroom was nicely filled with about 120, some of them prodigals who have wandered away from the Father, but, praise be to God, there were some there who have come back again. This is the beginning of our Friday Evening Services for the winter, and we hope that the people will come in large numbers to these Friday Evening Services. [...]”
