“Dear editor, - On June 22nd, the workers of the Gazette Brigade of the above Corps met for a Friendly Cup of Tea, every worker bringing their own Tea Pot, which seemed to be the most amusing tea ever had in the place. Afterwards, the Rector, Rev. J. H. Skinner, lent the Captain a Lantern and Slides (scenes from Paris, Africa, and Luton). The most attractive Slide of all had the words as follows, 'Please don't forget the Collection,' which spoke quite familiar.”
