“A firm footing: Capt. Morris and the Welsh Van, completed a week's mission at Vale Road and some blessed results have been the outcome of the services, the Vicar and the Curate taking part in the services held on Friday. Capt. Morris gave a Magic Lantern Lecture to a large number on the work of the C.A., and the very blessed subject, 'Given in Charge.' The Vicar at the close thanked Capt. Morris for his very instructing lecture, and hoped we should see him again before long. [...]”
