“A new station: Since our last report, we have had several Meetings, one of which was a Lantern Service held on Christmas Day, entitled 'Christy's Old Organ,' when about 200 assembled together, and some of them we are pleased to say, which had never been to any of our Mission services before. The collection reached just 20s., which we are more pleased with, when we know that it all came from working people. On Thursday, Jan. 17th, another Lantern Service was held, entitled 'An Hour in the Church of England,' when the Vicar gave the reading, which was both very interesting and instructing. [...]”
