BISHOP, Lieutenant (fl. 1890s) – lecturer
READER, Captain (fl. 1890s) – lecturer
Church Army Canterbury Van – organiser
“In the carpenter's shop: The 'Canterbury' Church Army Van arrived in this parish on November 12th for a Fortnight's Mission. Services had been conducted by Capt. Reader and Lieut. Bishop, and been greatly appreciated. […] On November 23rd the Van Brothers gave a Lantern Lecture in the above place, the first part of the evening being devoted to the children, and afterwards to the adults, the brothers giving a most interesting illustrated account of C.A. work, which was much appreciated. The offertory being for C.A. Van work, was well responded to. May God bless the brothers of the 'Canterbury' Van, and give them health and strength to gather in the sheaves from His great harvest field.”
