“A penny and a smile: We are still able to rejoice at the progress and encouragement of our work here, and we trust, as the winter evenings come on, our meetings may be more and more attended. Our third Magic Lantern Service was held on Thursday evening last, Capt. Bennett giving a powerful address of Church Army word, which was listened to with marked attention by upwards of 200 people. The people help us much by their prayers and a cheerful giving of their pence. ”
