“Hit in the right place: 'The Lord is good.' This we have proved more than ever during an Eight Day's Mission conducted by Mr. and Mrs. Ingham, ex-Publicans. Though the weather was severe, a good number listened attentively. One of our men said, 'A short time ago people preaching in the street had been hit, but thank God, I've been hit, and in the right place too!' Our little Mission Room was attended by upwards of 1,000 adults. Many pledges were signed, some on their knees (the right place to sign them), others professed conversion. The Lantern Service, describing the lives of missioners, was equally successful, the place being packed chiefly with men.”
