COLLINS, Captain J. Martin (fl. 1890s-1900s) – lecturer
“Van Journeying: The visit of Capt. Collins and his companions to this parish has been much appreciated. There was a well-attended Special Service at the Parish Room on Sunday night. The Captain gave a good address at our C.E.T.S. Meeting on Monday, and held a Magic Lantern Service on Thursday, which was largely attended. Owing to previous arrangements there was not so much opportunity for a Van visit as might have been, but I fully trust that with God's blessing good has been the result of their brief visit, and we all heartily wish the Capt. Collins Godspeed. ”
