CUMINE, Mr (fl. 1890s) – lecturer
“Indian soldiers re-enlisted: I am happy to say that the work is showing signs of a fruitful harvest in store. We have had four sound conversions, and I believe that by the time the Bishop comes for his winter visit, we shall have a nice number for Confirmation. I had 28 soldiers here spending Christmas, each man paying a certain amount , and I lent my bungalow; it was a delightful company. Mr. Cumine exhibited the Magic Lantern at night. I thank you for your prayers. I do not forget you all. I am quite happy and well. ”
