“On Monday 200 sat down to a good tea, which was well arranged by some of the C.A. soldiers. After tea another march brought us to King Street School, where a magic-lantern entertainment was given. The vicar, Rev. Dr. Cosens, took the chair, and in his address said he wished the C.A. were in every parish of Dudley, and that we could unite together in bringing the Gospel to the masses of this town. Our meetings both on Sunday and Monday were a great success. Many were heard to say that they had enjoyed themselves this Easter with the C.A., for which we humbly thank God and take courage. ”
