“Hampton Hill - Congregational Sunday School - The annual meeting of the parents and scholars was held on Thursday, when about 200 sat down to a substantial tea provided by the teachers and friends. In welcoming all present, the superintendent (Mr. E. Allison) sought the parents' help and cooperation in the many channels open for rendering the teachers help in their work. The report showed 19 teachers and 206 scholars on the books, that nearly ₤15 had been subscribed for missionary work during the past year, and that 11 scholars had lately expressed their desire to join the church. An interesting and instructive entertainment with dissolving views was afterwards given. ”
