“Southport - Portland-street Congregational Sunday School. - About 200 sat down to tea at the annual tea-meeting. Mr. B. Boothroyd gave a lantern exhibition, entitled 'Warranted all Bristles,' the Mayoress (Mrs. Rimmer) giving the connective readings. Prizes were distributed by the Mayoress to scholars for regular and early attendance.”
