“Gathering Jewels - 'Behold He Cometh' - This was the subject of the lantern service held in our little Mission Room in Pond Lane recently. We began by singing a hmyn, after which our Captain led us in prayer. The slides were very interesting and impressive. Every slide illustrated some part of Christ's life. After singing a solo called 'Ashamed of Christ', our Captain showed us how easily we could be ashamed of Him without even realising it. We could be ashamed of Him without even realising it. We earnestly hope and trust that the words which were spoken may be the means of gathering many jewels. One who was brought back by prayer.”
