“Crockham Church.- Captain Brittain has been doing good doing work during the five weeks he has been in this parish. (...) The Captain attracts a number of youths to his class on Friday and the first lantern service 'Little Binny', drew a large number of people. The collections help considerably towards the salary of this Officer. (...)”
