“During Lent, a mission is being conducted here by Capt. Prew. Mission services or lantern lectures are arranged for every evening in the week. A mission room has been hired in the poorest part of the parish, and it is here that the services are being held. Capt. Prew is working exceedingly hard by distributing notices of services, visiting the people, and conducting open-air services and lantern lectures, with the result that the meetings have been well advertised and the services are now being well attended. (...)”
