“'Learning To Be Little Children': The Newcastle Van No. 2 has just paid us a month's visit. (...) The last week of the mission saw very good congregations, especially at the lantern services, and the work accomplished may be by the fact that 36 memorial and 28 auxiliary cards were applied for. The last two weeks of their stay they spent Newburgh Hall infant school in Low Lemington. The great feature of of this mission was the Sunday Evening Services on the 'Life of Christ'. On both Sunday evenings and the schoolroom was packed and Capt. Sims' earnest and extremely pointed words were listened to with great interest and deep attention. (...)”
