“'What about last night?' - Upper Parkstone, Mintern road Mission. - On Sunday evening, Feb. 12, a novelty took place at our usual service, for we had the whole of the service illustrated by lantern views. The hall was filled to its utmost capacity. Capt. Newton delivered a soul stirring address, the subject being 'Sin;' the splendid slides from Headquaters giving the people a clear idea of the various results of sin. The workers pray that that service may prove the turning point inmany lives. Capt. Newton, out visiting on th Monday, was hailed by a working man. 'How about last night, Captain, it was splendid.' We thank God for the good work being done in our mission hall, but how little it seems to us, when so many hundreds are careless and without God about us. God help us to forget self, and do more for Thee. J.R., For Capt. Newton.”
