DRAWBRIDGE, Captain   (fl. 1890s) – lecturer

Reference

“Do take a box Mapledurham, Reading – A very interesting lecture on C.A. Work (illustrated with Magic Lantern) was given in the Schoolroom, by Capt. Drawbridge, on Wednesday, Jan 8. The Meeting was thoroughly enjoyed by all present, although the attendance was small, owing to another meeting in the neighbourhood. At the close two offered to take boxes for the Social Work, in addition to those already taken. There will be other Lantern Lectures during the winter months. The Sunday evening Services are most encouraging, the average numbers being between 30 and 40, which is good for so scattered a aprish. E.B. for Capt. Drawbridge.”
