Slides 1-20 were first issued in 1895; slides 21-32 were added, and the set's telegraphic stock code amended to 8BN, at some point between the 1902 catalogue supplement and the 1909 catalogue.
It's not clear why the stock code was changed, which usually seems to have implied a more fundamental reorganisation of a set: the later catalogue listings suggest a straightforward addition of slides to an existing set.
