Notes

The E.G. Wood 1894 catalogue uses the title Southern India, and the set is referred to by that title in the 1888 Indispensable Handbook (attributed there to Wood). Examples of the slides seen in the Manchester Museum Collection carry the printed title Temples of Southern India.
