Notes

The Newton 1912 catalogue lists the slides in two groups, 839-885 and 886-898, as though issued in separate batches, and uses the title Additional slides on the life of Christ.

In the c.1925 Newton catalogue this and the other batches of the Life of Christ set (telegraphic code 'EE') are presented as a single set of 1,387 slides numbered 1-1387, arranged approximately in order of their subjects in the Bible rather than numerically.
